NFL 2009

Any one that knows me, knows that i LOVE football season. I can't wait until my Sundays are consumed by watching football, game after game, all day.

So here, im going to take a little time and share my thoughts of the 2009-2010 NFL season.

  • So you already know where I'm going to start. Brett Favre. What. The. Heck. This dude is trippin for real now. The comeback to the Jets was cool. Everyone was crunk to see if he still had it, if he could still play considering his age, how he would do in a new market, but this is getting rediculous. And he joined the Vikings AFTER he "claimed" that he was staying retired. Way to eff up chemistry. Just like an ESPN analyst said(I cant remember which one), "This is just a short term fix to a long term problem". If I were Tarvaris Jackson, i would be pissed. He was having enough trouble fighting for a starting position, now he has to fight for his job. Way to go, Brett.

  • Redemption. That should be the world plastered on the practice facility of the New England Patriots. I branded onto the chest of QB Tom Brady. When Brady went down the first game of the season, we all knew they weren't going to do much. Well, we were wrong. Matt Cassel held it down, like for real. But to be honest, with a Randy Moss on your left, and a Wes Welker on your right, i think I could hold it down. "(LOL)" Im not hating though, the kid got right. Im glad to see Cassel in Kansas City doing his own thing instead of backing up Brady for the rest of his career. But back to New England. I expect a big year from them, even though they aren't a personal favorite of mine. I mean when is the next time you expect to see a team go 11-5 and NOT make the playoffs. I think Brady goes ham while i talk shit about hoping he gets injured again. Superbowl? Not quite.

  • Pittsburg. I mess with the Steelers, especially since they won me $100 during the Super Bowl. I dont have much bad to say about them, they've got mad heart. Love the intensity on D. Thier biggest flaw is their very over rated (in my eyes) QB, Ben Roethlisberger. He is a decent QB, he just isn't consistant enough for my taste. But hey, thats not my team so what do i care? Superbowl repeat? Nah. I give it two more years.

  • Terrell Owens. I know you mad this dude got his own bullet, but i dont know much about the bills. If he can get through this toe injury, i see a good season for the kid. I dont personally care for him any more, since he left Philly, but the guy can ball, no doubt. So Individually: Good season for Terrell. Team Wise: Nothing out of the norm. TO gets let go at the end of the season and who knows where he will end up from there...So get your popcorn ready.

  • This guy used to be one of the best recievers in the game, until he, in his words, "took a season off". Chad "Ochocinco", which is shockingly legally correct, has a lot to prove this season. He said that he didn't care last season and his performance on the field have displayed that tremendously. So this year, i hope he plays like he cares, because the guy is an explosive player. Not to mention he is a great entertainer.

  • Drum Roll please....now for MY boys. The Philadelphia Eagles. Honestly, we should have an ok season. I still don't know how i feel about the whole Micheal Vick situation. But all the hate aside, he is a good addition to the team. We need a little versatilitly. Everyone already knows what we are going to do. I hope Coach Reid lightens up on the passing game, we have a strong running foundation and we need to utilize that. Westbrook should have a good season, Jackson should have a good season. We should have a good season. Superbowl? ehhh thats a stretch...

As for super bowl perdictions, that may have to wait a few weeks...
